A great way to explore a range of varieties and styles from Italy. From Vermentino in Tuscany to Trebbiano d'Abruzzo and Grillo on Sicily. For the reds there's a Montepulciano from Rosso Conero on the Adriatic coast to a lovely Super Tuscan red and then down south to the noble variety Aglianico in Campania.

Gianni Masciarelli, Trebbiano d'Abruzzo x1

Modern style of Trebbiano fermented in steel tanks. Pale yellow with greenish tints, subtle flavours of green apples, yellow plums, apricots and almonds. Crisp finish.

Tenuta Aquilaia, Vermentino, Tuscany x1

Zesty aromatic nose with notes of preserved lemon, wild herbs and white flower. The palate is taut and fresh with bright citrus fruit and a lightly mineral, saline character. All balanced by crisp acidity, and with a touch of white pepper on the finish.

Zabu, Grillo, Sicily x1

Straw yellow in colour with golden highlights, this wine is fresh with mineral aromas on the nose, along with hints of orange blossom, peach, grapefruit and almonds. On the palate, it is full bodied with a refreshing acidity and a long finish.

Cantine Belisario, Montepulciano, Rosso Conero x1

Hints of these earthy notes add complexity to cherry, mocha and black fruit aromas making this a very satisfying wine. 100% Montepulciano

Monte Antico, Super Tuscan, Tuscany x1

This accessible Super Tuscan has an elegant bouquet of leather, black cherries, liquorice and plums leading to a medium to full-bodied palate where ripe red fruit show off the goût de terroir in addition to subtle notes of vanilla and violets, which harmonise and linger, interlacing with the soft tannins and gorgeous silky texture. A firm backbone with perfect integration of acidity and fruit. Sangiovese 85% Cabernet Sauvignon 10% Merlot 5%

Fattoria La Rivolta, Aglianico, Beneventano x1

La Rivolta based in Beneventano, just east of Naples in Campania, have produced a lovely ripe and forward drinking style of Aglianico. Great concentration of black fruits, leather, spice with ripe tannins.
