Champagne Bonnet Gilmert is based in the Grand Cru village of Oger in the heart of the Cote des Blancs, just south of Avize. The family have been working in their vineyards for five generations and today the property is run by the charming Aude Vauban and her cousin Carla Bonnet. The domaine has seven hectares of entirely Chardonnay vines and their Grand Cru plots are situated in Oger, Avize and Mesnil sur Oger. They blend wines from all three villages for each of their cuvées to add depth and complexity.

Alcoholic and malolactic fermentations take place in thermoregulated stainless steel tanks and there is a minimum ageing in the cellar of 30 months before dégorgement. These are tight, mineral wines which really impress and also deliver huge pleasure.
