Chateau Cos Labory is surrounded by three illustrious neighbours, Château Lafite, Château Cos d’Estournel and Château Lafon Rochet. These wines have for too long been forgotten and under the radar. Bernard Audoy is now making super wines that merit attention and offer great value – a treat!
The encépagement is 55% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc. Following fermentation in a combination of stainless steel and lined cement vats, the wine is aged for 18 months in barriques (30%-50% new each year).
