There's too many favourites to pick from but here's a small selection from our broad range that make a nice mix of styles to enjoy from France, Italy and Spain.

Rallo, Insolia, Sicily x1

On the west side of Sicily close to Marsala, is where Rallo Azienda Agricola calls home. Their Insolia is a straw yellow colour wine, with fresh citrussy notes and crisp apple. Persistent harmonious and mineral on the finish. Gorgeous and fresh white wine, try with a vongole!

Yves Cuilleron, Marsanne, North Rhone x1

A top star domaine. Yves Cuilleron took over the reins as the 4^th generation vigneron in 1987. He is based in Chavanay, just south of Condrieu and has built up a formidable reputation in recent years. Always developing new ideas and cuvées, our tasting here each year is mightily impressive. We are lucky to have the allocation we do. Having started with Yves’ stunning Vin de France, we now have access to his amazing range of Grands Vins. He now owns and leases over 75 hectares. We think they are all great wines and they are all in the style of Yves Cuilleron – lingering, rich white wines and big rich minerally reds. Nose composed of white fruits, delicate flowers and citrus peels. Well-balanced, fresh and fleshy on the palate.

Mi Lugar, Rioja Blanco x1

Intense aromas of stone fruit with notes of fennel and thyme. The palate is bright and complex with apricot, peach and hints of passion fruit alongside lightly honeyed and almond characters. The wine has structure and weight, with notes of clove and a long finish.

Fabien Duveau, Saumur Champigny, Loire x1

From vines grown on a combination of clay and limestone soils in the village of Verrains. Vinified with indigenous yeast, exclusively in concrete vat. Violets on the nose, bright red fruits with a slight herbaceous edge. A soft and refreshing red. Lovely example of crunchy Cabernet Franc from Saumur Champigny.

Serve with the lightest chill to show it at its best. Pair with just about anything but with lamb it’s a real treat.

Bruno Sorg, Pinot Noir, Alsace x1

Something that Alsace is becoming better known for and offering superb value in comparison to some Pinot from Burgundy. A complex Pinot, that has good fruit density, freshness along with a savoury dimension. A Burgundy-esque Pinot that offers fantastic value.

Allegrini, Palazzo della Torre, Veneto x1

The Allegrini family estate covers 120 hectares of vineyard in the heart of Valpolicella Classico. Although they have been growing grapes here for several centuries, Giovanni Allegrini was the first to start bottling wines from the family's vineyards. From the 2007 vintage, Franco his youngest, sacrificed the Classico status of the Valpolicella and bottled the wine under Stelvin to eliminate cork taint and random oxidation problems as much as possible. The ‘Palazzo della Torre’, a 'baby Amarone' produced by Allegrini's unique approach to the ripasso method, is plush and rounded. Allegrini’s take on the “Ripasso” method is made from a portion of grapes dried just for this wine (and not from the Amarone pomace). It's a smooth, velvety wine with ripe, juicy dark fruit and silky tannins.
