Located close to the historic market town of Petworth in West Sussex, Roebuck Estates was established in 2013. Our Roman Villa vineyard is a beautiful site nestled in a serene valley to the South East of Petworth. Here we have just under 15 acres of Pinot Noir planted in 2007 on a mixture of Burgundian and Champagne clones.
South facing, the gentle slopes are protected by the South Downs, which moderate the prevailing south-westerly winds, and the loam/clay rich soils give great structure and depth to our wines.
Delicate rose-pink in colour with fragrant aromas of wild strawberries, white peach and rose petals. An expressive palate displaying notes of ripe red fruits, honeysuckle and white blossom. Beautifully balanced with a bright seam of acidity, a fine persistent mousse and a long, yet elegant length.
