Founded in 1948, Domaines Vinet is a family estate in the Loire Valley, in the heart of the Nantes vineyard and close to the Atlantic Ocean. The domaine was taken over by Gérard Vinet in 1980 and is today run by Gérard, Laurence and their son Mathieu, who together continue the family tradition with energy and care.
The estate comprises 55 hectares of sustainably farmed vineyards, certified HVE and Terra Vitis, across the communes of La Haye-Fouassière and Château-Thébaud, in the historic heart of the Muscadet Sèvre et Maineappellation.
At Domaines Vinet, great importance is placed on the quality and character of the soils. Work in both vineyard and cellar is adapted plot by plot, allowing each wine to express its own identity. All of the wines are harvested, vinified, bottled and marketed by the family themselves, combining modern winery facilities with a deep respect for tradition and the environment.
Their Muscadet Sèvre et Maine sur Lie La Quilla 2025, made from 100% Melon de Bourgogne, is a bright, mineral and classically styled Muscadet, matured for six months on fine lees to bring texture, freshness and coastal character.
