Vasilikon, Agios Onoufrios 2022, Cyprus

Founded in 1993, Vasilikon Winery is one of the pioneering wine estates of Cyprus, located in the mountainous village of Kathikas in the Paphos region. A family-owned and operated winery, Vasilikon combines traditional values with modern winemaking techniques to showcase the potential of indigenous Cypriot varieties. The estate has earned a reputation for producing expressive, terroir-driven wines that reflect the island’s unique character and Mediterranean heritage. Agios Onoufrios is the estate’s entry-level red wine, a blend of Lefkada, Syrah and Cabernet Franc. 

This wine is characterised by a deep purple colour and a vivid, expressive aroma. On the palate, it offers a fruit-forward profile, with vibrant red and black fruit tones, smooth tannins, and a perfumed, long-lasting aftertaste.
