Domaine Giraudon, Bourgogne Chitry Blanc 2023

Chitry-le-Fort is a small village, positioned 12km southwest of Chablis. The marl and limestone rich kimmeridgian soils are very similar in composition to their famous neighbour and the vineyards are able to offer tight, mineral Chardonnay, Bourgogne Aligoté and Pinot Noir. There are 8 hectares of Bourgogne Chitry Blanc. Hand-picking, controlled tillage, natural grassing, and short Guyot pruning are employed, alongside EcoPhyto protection and sustainable development practices. The use of temperature-controlled stainless steel vats help craft an authentic and distinctive wine. 

This wine presents a golden yellow hue with an inviting nose of white flowers and fresh fruit, including lime and grapefruit. On the palate, it opens with a clean, straightforward attack, evolving into a rich and layered profile with subtle, well-balanced aromas. Fresh, round, and generous, it offers bothvibrancy and complexity from start to finish.
