Coteaux de l’Aubance takes its name from the tributary of the Loire river, Aubance. It is situated south of the town of Angers and directly north of Coteaux du Layon. Their sweet wines are outstanding and they deserve to be better known. The property has three parcels of land from which they make their extraordinary wines, and Les Trois Schistes is a blend of all three with 100% Chenin Blanc. Flavours include marmalade and apricot, alongside notes of honey and citrus. Amazing balance of sweetness and acidity. Gorgeous.
