Based in the Vignoble de Vernantois, a small and quietly emerging enclave within the Côte du Jura, Domaine Christophe et Yoann Perrin is one of just three producers working in the village. The domaine includes eight hectares of marl and limestone soils, an environment that brings both structure and salinity to the wines, alongside the freshness typical of the region’s cool, continental climate.
Work in the vineyard is rigorous and attentive, with a clear emphasis on vine health and balance, particularly important given the challenges of Jura’s variable climate. Many of the parcels are planted with older vines, naturally limiting yields and contributing to the depth and completeness seen across the range. In the cellar, intervention is kept to a minimum: fermentations proceed with a light touch, extraction is gentle, and élevage is adapted to each cuvée. The wines show a distinctive interplay between Jura typicity and a more polished, finely tuned expression: bright, savoury and textural, yet marked by a clarity and elegance that continues to evolve under Yoann’s direction.
The Fleur de Savagnin offers a poised balance of citrus and orchard fruit with a subtle oxidative, nutty complexity, carried by a saline, structured finish.
