This domaine is truly a gem in the northern Rhône, demonstrating typicity, or rather ‘soil to glass transfer’ as described by John Livingstone-Learmonth. Granit 60 is exceptional and highlights the elegance of his wines, coming from three different plots of older vines of between 30-100 year-old vines. It shows pure notes of cracked pepper, blueberries and raspberries. It perfectly captures the ripe essence of Syrah, then adds a firm grounding of crushed stone and firm tannins on the finish.
