Rafael Cambra, Soplo Blanco, Valencia, Spain (Normal price £14.95)

A refreshing combination of spicy local Malvasia with a touch of citrusy Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc, Soplo Blanco is a deliciously drinkable, Mediterranean white with unusual balance and freshness for the area. A lovely balance of ginger, apricot and sweet spice from Malvasia and bright, zesty lime and grapefruit acidity from the Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc. Food-friendly and deliciously drinkable. Try with crab linguine!

Chateau La Mirande, Picpoul de Pinet, France (Normal price £13.95)

This is a deliciously understated wine, a touch of savoury brininess, a hint of white flowers, and before you know it, the contents of the bottle have disappeared into history. Thirst quenching and utterly appropriate with linguine of crab with chilli, garlic and parsley.

Babylonstoren, Mouvedre Rosé, Paarl, South Africa (Normal price £17.95)

Beautiful, dry style of rosé made from 100% Mouvedre. A very well balanced Rosé that has a generous amount of fruit but with great acidity making it a very easy drinking number.

Sa Raja, Cannonau di Sardegna, Italy (Normal price £18.50)

Perfumed redcurrant and bramble aromas combined with brown spice and warm, earthy notes. Bright and fleshy on the palate with juicy red berry and forest fruits balanced by gentle tannins and fresh acidity. A supple, elegant style with fine tannins, bright acidity and a delicate savoury finish.

Moulon de Gassac, Pinot Noir, Pays d’Oc, France (Normal price £13.95)

Complex and delicate nose: Tipicity of the Pinot noir: candied cherry, light roasted hints and mocha with a nice herbaceous edge. Abundunt fruit. A beautiful freshness and soft tannins make it a balanced and fine Pinot.

Tabali, Pedregoso Cabernet Sauvignon, Maipo Valley, Chile (Normal price £14.50)

belter for the money. Deliciously dark in hue, it has aromas of an herbaceous edge along with blackcurrant and black pepper. The palate has cool blackcurrant plus rich plum, crunchy blackberry, herbal and violet notes with fine smooth tannins.
