Andre Colonge is a 30 hectare domain run by two brothers Laundry and Samuel, it was originally started by their grandfather. 7 of their hectares are in Fleurie and 18 are Beaujolais / Beaujolais Villages. This is their entry level Beaujolais and it's a good benchmark for what Gamay and Beaujolais are all about. A juicy and soft wine, that is full of red fruits. Uncomplicated and charming. Terrific to drink on it's own, magnificent with a burger!
