This rich blend of Chenin and a splash of Viognier and Muscat d’Alexandrie has lovely fruit concentration, texture and balance. Grapes are sourced from 30-40 year old vines and a selection of sites to showcase the Swartland grapes and soil-types.
Farming is sustainable with some organic and biodynamic practices used. The granitic soils enhance the stony/mineral attributes of the grapes giving rise to a focused and linear style. The wines are fermented naturally in old oak barrels to enhance the sense of place, and are bottled unfiltered.
