This great property is now run by two of the late Marc Pagès’s grandsons, Frédéric Le Clerc (ex Ecole Polytechnique) and Benjamin Richer des Forges. They are very capable.
A further 12 hectares of superb land were purchased to add to the 55 hectares. The average age of the vines is well over 40 years. An impressive temperature-controlled storage cellar has been built and they are in the process of building a totally new temperature-controlled chai. The blend comprises 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Merlot and 5% Petit Verdot.
Incredible fruit concentration with ripe, firm tannins, showing real depth! A serious Bordeaux for the money.
